I have been busy potty training my new puppy. Shes doing so much better with it then when I first got her. This morning she actually pawed at me and was whining to get me out of the bed. I let her out and she peed. Great! She has tons of energy so she constantly wants to play. She has a playmate that she plays with but she seems to want more play time with me as well and I am happy to do so.
Right now shes sleeping, thank God cause I need a break!!!!! I swear its like having children. I also have a ton of laundry to do today. I also need to go to the grocery store and go pay the $100 for my sons summer school....He flunked algebra and has to take summer classes. I hope he learns a lesson here and doesnt flunk anymore classes. He did flunk science too but can make that up during the school year- thank god!

I suffer from an incurable bladder disease called: (IC) Interstitial Cystitis. I am one of over 1 million people who have this horrible disease. It amazes me that it isnt a well known disease, it is rarely talked about and doctors dont even know what causes it.
In my case I suffer from reacurring bladder infections and have to urinate 20-60 times per day. It has also caused me to have bladder bleeding, bladder and abdominal pain. The only way for me to keep it under some kind of control is to avoid all acidic food and drinks. Do you know how hard that is?
I do not have INS and the cost to walk into the door of a specialist is $250.00..so I go on suffering!!!
I have done alot of research on the subject and I have yet to read anything positive about it, have yet to read any success stories.
I have been told by family members that this is all in my head..which disturbs me because it isnt. I found out from my obgyn in 2007 that this is what I have. The pain is real, the disease is real!!
I want to get the word out about this disease. I am going to write to every womans magazine there is until someone takes notice and does a story about it. I want a cure to be found. I want people to know what a horrible disease this truely is. It not only effects ones body but emotionally and mentally as well. It can cause severe depression in some people that they have either attempted suicide or followed through with suicide. This disease is no joking matter.
It causes people to not want to leave their house, causes problems in marriages, causes us to get teased relentlessly because we are always in the bathroom, causes us to get fired from jobs and not be able to find a job. Prayer for Financial Blessings!!!
Heavenly Father, Most Gracious and Loving God, I pray to you that you abundantly bless my family and me. I know that you recognize, that a family is more than just a mother and father, sister and brother, husband and wife, but all who believe and trust in you. Father, I send up a prayer request for a financial blessing. Father I know that for you nothing is impossible, you just will it and it will happen. I thank you in advance for your blessings. Release your Godly Wisdom that I may be a good steward over all that GOD has called me to be in my financial Blessings.
Father, for I know how wonderful and mighty you are and how if we just obey you and walk in your word and have the faith of a mustard seed that you will pour out blessings. I thank you now Lord ! for the recent blessings I received and for the blessings yet to come because I know you are not done with me yet. In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen. Sit back and watch the power of God work in your life.
Homemade Stir Fry
I love fresh veggies and although this took a little while to prepare- it was worth it!!!
1- bag of yellow saffron rice
1- green pepper
1- onion
1- pkg fresh mushrooms
1/2 package fresh brussell sprouts
1/2 pkg fresh green beans
1- pkg stir fry beef- cooked
oil
Cook rice according to directions
wash, snip off ends of green beans, boil for 3 mins
dice green pepper & onion
wash & slice mushrooms in half
cook beef
Put a little bit of oil in a pan & cook together on high, stirring constantly: green pepper, onion, brussell sprouts: once cooked add all ingrdients together & stir.

Beetle Bags
Dont buy those Beetle bags for your garden, all they do is attract them to your garden. Put a few tsp of dishwashing soap in a gallon container of water and put it spray bottle, spray plants. re spray after it rains. Keep checking, if you see any Beetles spray again.
If you do not want to make a gallon, use a clean spray bottle , fill with water and add a few drops of dish washing soap, close top, shake, spray
It works! I used it on my plants the other day and the next day they were gone, havent seen any since.

Remember if you have an old analog TV take it to a recycling center that accepts these tv's. They will take out what parts they can or fix it and donate it to charity. Dont put it by the curb for the trash man as it will only end up in a land fill.
To prevent animals from eating your garden all up put a few teaspoons of Joy dishwashing soap in a clean gallon milk jug, add water and put in a spray bottle, spray your veggies with this spray and spray again after it rains. I used this formula years ago when I had a garden and it really worked. Rinse off the veggies really good before eating. I got this tip from a gardener. I will be using it when I plant my garden after memoral day weekend.

Recycle Bread Bags
I used to buy and resell books online. I used to wrap my books up in plastic or bubble wrap and then use paper bags to wrap the books over the plastic. Use bread bags for the same purpose.
Humming Bird Food
I have been using this recipe for years for my humming birds

Add to small pan, mix, boil, then turn off right after it boils, Let sit until cooled off then place in feeders. I go through alot of sugar during the summer and I dont mind because I love watching them and believe me they come back every year and sometimes they bring friends.

Cleaning Tips
When I used to clean houses full time I found that after cleaning bathroom tile and or smooth tub surrounds and then waxing with car wax, it was easier to clean the next time around. The water beads right off the tile and or smooth tub surround and makes it shiny. I also used car wax on sinks too. After applying car wax buff with a clean rag. Any inexpensive wax will do.
I love Murphys Oil soap. I wash my linoleum floors with it, my hard wood steps and any hard wood I have in the house. Instead of buying the expensive murphys spray I pour a tiny bit in a clean spray bottle and then will spray wood work and wipe with a cloth.
I also like to use Vinegar to clean with as well. Its inexpensive and supposed to kill germs too. I also put this a tiny bit in a spray bottle and spray down my counters with it.
Baking Soda works great on stainless steel pans. Put a few spoonfulls into the pan and scrub, rinse well.

Recycle Fabric Scraps
Put a pretty basket next to your sewing machine and put all fabric scraps and scrap thread into it, then when you need stuffing for a project use it. It works great for primitive items. It really gives it a more handmade look than ordinary stuffing.
How To Make Tile Jewelry
You can make tile jewelry out of scrabble tiles, domino tiles or from square woodsies.
Materials: Tile, Silver plated bail, decorative paper, diamond glaze by Judikins, E6000 Jewelry Adhesive, scissors, pencil, paint brush.
Instructions: Print out your design to desired size, trace pattern with pencil and cut out design. Apply design to tile with adhesive, apply diamond glaze with paint brush and let dry. After drying apply silver plated bail to the back with adhesive. If using scrabble tiles place design on flat side.
* Judikins diamond glaze looks like glass when it is dry. After applying glaze with a brush, pop any bubbles with a needle. Use small amounts and spread with small brush for better coverage. You can buy it online through Judikins.com. Its around $5.50 + S&H.
* You can also handpaint the designs on woodsies by Forster. The bag comes in 130 count and comes in assorted squares & circles. These can be bought online or in craft stores.

Recycled Saw Dust
You can use saw dust to make textured paint. Simply add some paint to some saw dust, mix and apply it to whatever craft project you are making. I have santa heads out of sticks found in the yard and used this paint for the beard. It dries very hard. You can use whatever color paint you want to use.
